​Impulse NGO Network (INGON) is a 37-year-old non-profit founded by Hasina Kharbhih to address unsafe migration and climate vulnerabilities that lead to human trafficking.

​

INGON works across all eight states of Northeast India and North Bengal, with cross-border partnerships extending to Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and Thailand.

In 2015, we launched the Impulse Case Management Centre (ICMC), a digital platform that connects our partners in the fight against human trafficking. Thanks to this system, responses are faster, better coordinated, and more effective.

The Impulse Model is a comprehensive and internationally recognized innovation designed to combat unsafe migration and prevent human trafficking.

 

In 2012, it received the Global Development Network’s Japanese Award for Most Innovative Development Project, supported by the World Bank, in recognition of its deep impact and successful expansion across Asia.
